Cut The Shoulders

I am a big fan of sweaters when it comes to the winter season, so I figured what better way to show off some skin in the winter by purchasing a sweater with an open shoulders design.

I personally like this sweater, like I have mentioned before about previous sweaters is the collar piece. This sweater in particular has more of a turtleneck or high neckline style, which I felt gave this top that extra touch.

Because this sweater is light in color, I wanted to make sure I mixed a variety of textures and colors to compliment the top. As you can see I have a light but dark pair of skinny jeans and black booties to add a dark focus with the attire.

Suit up with A Blazer

I am honestly obsessed with jumpsuits and I don’t care who knows it!!! There is something about jumpsuits that intrigues me and I don’t know if it’s because they are fit kinda snug or if it’s the boldness that adds that extra sexiness to it.

I purchased this jumpsuit from Macy’s a few years back when I was preparing to go to Chicago for my cousins graduation. I wanted to look elegant for the occasion so the jumpsuit was the winner. I tend to lean more towards black attire for some reason but who doesn’t? Black to me looks good on any and everyone. The other piece that you notice is the long pink blazer that I purchased from Forever 21. When I bought it I didn’t think it was going to be as long on me, but then I grew to love it. It worked really well with this jumpsuit.

So you guys know how I talked about my make up spree I went on in my last post? Well one of the other items I purchased was the Stila Matte lipstick. I personally just started wearing lipstick because in the past I didn’t care for the texture of the ones I did own. When I went to Sephora the girl introduced me to Stila and once I tried it on and saw how nice it looked on my lips I was OBSESSED!!! It usually runs about $20.00 if you want the set that comes with three.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

I recently went on a make up spree and bought so much Urban Decay products, but my favorite purchase was the Urban Decay: Naked 2 palette.

I simply bought the palette because I love the shimmer in the eye shadows. My skin tone really reacts to high pigmented eye shadows very well, so I knew that this palette would be the first one I purchase out of the other two palettes that Urban Decay produces.

So lets talk about this palette that I just blessed you all with!

You will notice that there are twelve eye shadows in this palette and you will also see that in Naked 1 and Naked 3 as well. The twelve colors listed are:  Foxy, Half Baked, BootyCall, Chopper, Tease, SnakeBite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted and Blackout.

I tend to use SnakeBite, Suspect and Blackout when I’m wanting to pull off a smokey eye look, but the other shades still work well if you are looking to have a more natural look throughout the day or night.

All the Urban Decay: Naked palettes are all $54.00, but I promise it’s worth it.

I added down below a little treat that I think you all will enjoy. I use YouTube all the time when applying make up. So I hope you enjoy this Naked 2 palette tutorial by gliter702, I sure did and I use this look often.
